How does trulyMEid make sure IDs get to the right people (and not the wrong people)?

ID issuers make sure IDs get to the right people (and not the wrong people) by ensuring the information on the IDs they issue is accurate for the ID’s email address. In other words, they make sure that the name, photo, and any other attributes all match the person behind the email address.

trulyMEid makes sure IDs get to the right people (and not the wrong people) by verifying email addresses. Before trulyMEid issues an ID, it first verifies that the person claiming that email address actually controls that email address. Once verified, trulyMEid will issue IDs to that email address, and they’ll appear in the trulyMEid virtual wallet app on the person’s devices.
